Stonehenge again, different angle, I have loads but I'm not going to bore you that much. Posted by Hello

We visited Stonehenge on Thursday, you wouldn't believe the amount of people visiting this place. The last time we visited was 20 years ago, when the children were little, and you didn't pay £5.20 to walk round it.  Posted by Hello

This was absolutely beautiful.  Posted by Hello

Went to Wales yesterday, first of all up to the Brecon Beacons. This was absolutely lovely.  Posted by Hello

Thanks to all

Thank you all that gave me your insites on the Picasa and Hello. I did uninstall both. I may try and just work with the Hello program when I have time to download it. Yes I really like my ACDSee program and didn't like the fact that if I deleted a photo in Picasa I would loose the one in the ACDSee program also. I am sure now I missed the button to click on the default program. Such is life. Now Kevin I don't know how to do the voice blog???? Again I need to sit down and take my time in here and see what all can be done! Must run. All of you have a great day and stay safe!

Good Day from the Oregon Coast

I have discovered this morning that when I downloaded Picasa that it completely took over my other photo program of ACDSee. Not a happy camper here. I have now uninstalled Hello and I'm going to try and import a picture from the ACDSee program and see if it works. If I delete a picture from Picasa it also deletes it from the other program so I now have duplicate pics on the machine!!! GRRrrrrr! Well here goes. Hope you all have a great day and I'll check you all later. Teddy

Well it won't let me copy and paste so there ya go!

A Texas Blessing and some real home truths!!!

TEXAS BLESSING

Bless this house, oh Lord, we cry.
Please keep it cool in mid-July.
Bless the walls where termites dine,
while ants and roaches march in time.
Bless our yard where spiders pass
fire ant castles in the grass.
Bless the garage, a home to please
carpenter beetles, ticks and fleas.
Bless the love bugs, two by two,
the gnats and mosquitoes that feed on you.
Millions of creatures that fly or crawl,
in Texas, Lord, you've put them all!!
But this is home, and here we'll stay,
So thank you Lord, for insect spray.
.............there's more....................

YOU KNOW YOU ARE IN TEXAS IN JULY WHEN...
The birds have to use potholders to pull worms out of the ground.
The trees are whistling for the dogs.
The best parking place is determined by shade instead of distance.
Hot water now comes out of both taps.
You can make sun tea instantly.
You learn that a seat belt buckle makes a pretty good branding iron.
The temperature drops below 95 and you feel a little chilly.
You discover that in July it only takes 2 fingers to steer your car.
You discover that you can get sunburned through your car window.
You actually burn your hand opening the car door.
You break into a sweat the instant you step outside at 7:30 a.m.
Your biggest bicycle wreck fear is, "What if I get knocked out and end up lying on the pavement and cook to death?"
You realize that asphalt has a liquid state.
The potatoes cook underground, so all you have to do is pull one out and add butter, salt and pepper.
Farmers are feeding their chickens crushed ice to keep them from laying boiled eggs.
The cows are giving evaporated milk.
Ah, what a place to call home..

Who did the 100th post?

Who did the 100th post?

Leigh asked me if Tuxso was as tough as I made him out to be. Yes, under all that cute fluffy fur, Tuxso is a real street tough. He thinks he owns the whole neighbor hood and will go after any cat male or female to defend his territory. For a big cat (15 lbs (6.8 kilos) he sure has a high pitch meow. I read an article on walking a cat, they said to let them lead. So Tuxso leads me around when we go for a walk. I refuse to crawl under the cars of courses. ;-)
